I just had a IPB TAF PF installed.  The guy who did the work has done
many PF swaps in the past including several TAFs.  This was his first
IPB TAF PF swap.  Here is what we both noted:

1.  There is a EXTRA unused hole on the IPB TAF PF near the Thing
eject saucer.  Fortunately this hole is not visible when your standing
in front playing a game.  The hole is only visible when standing on
the right side near the backbox.  Not sure how a unused hole would
appear on these new PFs.  Perhaps IPB used a early version of the PF
design?  Don't know - only guessing:

2.  Having holes not drilled along the edges and in the pop bumper
area has been pretty common and not unique to the IPB TAF PF.  But the
IPB TAF PF has about 15 or so additional holes that needed to be
drilled - mostly posts.  In fact the hole visible on the right side of
the first pic above had to be drilled in the IPB PF for a post.

3.  The IPB TAF PF surface appears to be not as smooth as previous WMS
NOS PFs.  The clear finish seems thinner.

4.  As previously noted, the back of the IPB TAF PF is not dimpled and
the Electric Chair scoop hole is not beveled.  Cliffy's TAF protector
with a smaller lip will be installed.

I did call Kim at IPB last Monday to give her the above details.  She
was very thankful for the input and will use it for future
corrections.

Also, as previously noted, some (most? all?) of the PF inserts are
more transparent in color density.  For example, the white Cousin-it
insert is less translucent and easier to see through.  The effect
seems to allow more light through making the game brighter.
