BMI Gaming kanske inte är den mest pålitliga källan för den här typen av info. Dom har ett ganska dåligt rykte på rgp och har betett sig konstigt ibland.


Det har varit en helt otrolig hysteri kring detta spel på den usa-dominerade nyhetsgruppen rgp. Nya trådar om POTC poppar upp flera ggr per dag och förväntningarna är skyhöga! Å detta för ett spel som ingen vet någonting om - som ingen utanför utvecklingsteamet har spelat! Blir nog i princip omöjligt att infria dessa höga förväntningar. Men ingen vet ännu...


Att det verkar som att spelet drar ut på tiden kan ju bero på att folk har förväntat sig fel tid för release.

Eller så beror det på att Disney har stenhårda riktlinjer på när spelet får släppas publikt.

Men det kan ju också bero på att Stern fått jobba på det nya operativsystemet som introducerades i å med förra titeln WPT. Ett nytt OS kräver förmodligen en hel del finjusteringar innan det funkar som man vill. Det har uppenbarligen funnits åtminstonde en konstighet som varit svår att åtgärda (en bugg i WPT som jag har för mig var reset eller CPU-hangup under multiboll).


Man kan ju spekulera i att detta är en oerhört viktig titel för Sterns framtid. Om denna titel floppar ser det mörkt ut (eftersom inget spel sedan LOTR egentligen har sålt särskilt bra efter vad jag har förstått). Om POTC blir en succé kommer man få ny energi och kan förhoppningsvis pumpa ut nya bra titlar.

Låt oss hoppas på det bästa!

Såvitt jag vet finns det inga givna riktlinjer för hur tävlingsreglerna ska vara utformade på EPC. Därför kan vi ju äntligen ha ett EPC med RIKTIGA regler, å inte några "kalle anka"-regler. :-D

Det behöver väl bestämmas var/när/hur/vilka innan hösten i alla fall.

Gratulerar! Känslan är enormt skön när man klarat av det efter en lång tids jagande! :-)

Skulle verkligen vara intresserad om det är någon som kan ge lite mer detaljerad information om hur man spelar Valinor, och även hur man spelar TABA.

Är det inte tillräckligt med bra detaljerade tips i denna tråd eller? :-D:-D;-)

Själv har jag ju bara lirat Valinor en gång, och då var jag ju så nöjd med att ha tagit mig dit att man bara skyfflade på å inte tänkte så mkt.

Men det handlar väl helt "enkelt" om att skjuta ringskotten mycket (Legolas, Gandalf, Aragorn, å höger loop vad den nu heter) för att hämta ut add-a-balls, plus att då å då sticka av med skott mot "lutande tornet" och ringrampen för att starta upp den vandrande superjackpoten. Eller menar du att det borde finnas en ännu mer komplicerad taktik?

TABA för mig handlar om att se till att ha palantiren tänd, så att man kan få dom där 20 sekunderna extra. Dom behövs! Annars är det bara ringramp, annat skott, ringramp, annat skott...men allt det där vet du ju redan. Själva TABA känns ganska rättframt...det är ju mest att man vill ha 2x och/eller Gollum *innan* man drar igång det hela.

Har fortfarande inte orkat demontera klon, men jag har nog kommit fram till att det kan röra sig om två separata fel.

Spökregistreringarna för Top Popper verkar triggas av vibrationer. Kan vara ngn dålig lödning helt enkelt.

Det andra felet verkar ju helt klart vara beroende på att klon hakar i ngt (å då får man spökreggningar på Trough Jam). Ett tag idag gick klon fint, utan att ha ngn mekanisk hang-up, å då reggade inte Trough Jam. Men sen återkom den mekaniska hang-up:en, å så även spökträffarna på Trough Jam.

En teori att jobba utifrån i alla fall! :-)

Skulle kunna ha varit en LM339:a i normala fall, men enligt manualen går claw optosarna (2st u-optos) direkt till swithcmatrisen (CPU-kortet).

Min okunskap lyser igenom. Du har rätt. Det finns ju (2st?) LM339 för raderna i switchmatrisen också. Det skulle det absolut kunna vara. *end of edit*


Vi noterade att klon hakar upp sig på ngt precis när den här konstigheten inträffar. Så min första gissning är att optointeruptern (som sitter på drivaxeln till klon) hakar i ngn kabel eller själva u-opton. När spelplanen är uppdragen till serviceläget hakar den inte i ngt. Så kablar som hamnat i vägen är väl det första man ska kika efter.

Du har helt rätt i att Claw opto pos 2 är på samma rad som Trough Jam och det är nog inte ngn slump att det är just dom två som uppvisar ett sammanlänkat problem.

Å självklart blev man ju lurad i början att misstänka det vanliga bolltrågsproblemet eftersom den startade omotiverade multibollar till höger å vänster! :-D

Låter bra det! Skulle vara lite jobbigt att behöva plocka bort alla ramper för att komma åt Cryo Claw.
