Dear pinball fanatics,
Quite some time ago the talks concerning a "Belgian open Pinball"
tournament were started and we quickly realized it has been to long
since this event has had a place on the pinball diary.
After running down some ideas, checking our legal possibilities and
looking for a suitable location, we can announce you with pride that
the BoP makes its comeback at the weekend of the 4th of November
2012. A date to block in your agendas!
We will open a subscription form on the 1st of February on our
website.
This subscription does NOT count as a confirmed subscription but
should be seen as a survey of interest. Since we can't guess how many
people will join us in this event, reappearing after so many years, we
need a good idea on the amount of participants to be able to organize
everything properly.
This survey does offer you an advantage though. You will be
automatically put on a list of people that get priority for a
confirmed subscription. So please only subscribe when you really want
to and can participate.
Within a few weeks and/or months we will put a lot of information
online on our website as well as through mailing. Since the Belgian
pinball championships take place at the 21st of April 2012 (sorry,
only Belgian players) we will have our main focus on that tournament
till then.
We hope to welcome you at this new international tournament at Belgian
ground!
An important detail is that we do NOT allow any visitors due to
logistic and legal constraints.
Participation and entrance to the BoP is FREE. All machines will be
on free play. To cover costs however, all participants do need to pay
a certain fee for the location and catering, which do include some
sharp priced consumption coupons. Needless to say that all of this
has its legal reasons.
