Main:

Pinburgh style format. Three rounds group stage of four player match-play. Four games each round. Four rounds final stage of two player match-play (16 (or 12) players cut single elimination). Best-of-three games each round. Players not making the cut will play a similar final stage to settle their individual ranking. Seeding according IFPA ranking at tournament day.

Mini:

One-strike elimination with randomly selected opponent-pairing. Except for the first round where higher seeded players will be granted a bye. The number of players granted a bye will be determined from the player base in such a way, that the number of players remaining in the tournament after round one will be the highest lower power-2 count. The round two count will likely be 16 players. In that case, the tournament will feature five rounds of one game matches. Seeding according IFPA ranking at tournament day.
