Det tredje slutspelet i Swedish Championship Series (SweCS 2024) kommer hållas hos Pinballseye i Borås helgen 17-19/1, 2025. De 64 högst placerade spelarna, dvs de som (oavsett nationalitet) har samlat flest rankingpoäng på svenska tävlingarna under 2024 är kvalificerade. Vid eventuella avhopp fyller vi på från plats 65 och nedåt. Slutställningen i kvalet blir när IFPA ”låser” tävlingsåret 2024 i början på januari 2025. Denna tävling kommer ge 300% TGP!
Kvalet är sju omgångar Group Match Play med tre spel (old-mid-new) per runda. Slutspelet är 32 personer man-mot-man, enkel eliminering, bäst av fem maskiner (bäst av sju i finalen) med två byes för kvalplats 1-8 och en bye för 9–16.

Den högst placerade spelaren i slutspelet som inte redan har en plats kvalificerar sig både till IFPA-VM 2025 i Österrike samt till ECS-slutspelet i Belgien i mars 2025. Tackar någon nej går platsen/platserna längre ner i listan tills någon tar den.
OBS! VM-platsen går till en svensk spelare. ECS-platsen går till vilken nationalitet som helst.
I ECS-slutspelet finns, förutom ett NiB Stern Pro, även där en VM-plats.

Det är viktigt att man anmäler sig resp. avbokar sig vid förhinder så vi ger intresserade reserver från 65+ en rimlig chans att kunna planera in sitt deltagande och garantera att vi får ihop en full tävling med 64 deltagare.

De 64 högst rankade i SweCS 2024-kvalet är kvalificerade till SweCS finalen. Exakt vilka de är publiceras här när IFPA har ”låst” rankingen för år 2024 i början på januari 2025.
Du måste dock anmäla dig som till vilken tävling som helst för att vi skall veta att du har för avsikt att delta. Det görs i kommentarsfältet i denna tråd under perioden fram till och med 4 januari. Även intresserade utanför topp 64 kan anmäla sig under denna tiden. För fredagstävlingen och söndagstävlingen anmäler man sig i separata trådar eller på plats. Anmälningsavgift i sidotävlingar ingår dock för de tävlande i SweCS-finalen.
De från topp 64 som meddelar mig att de inte kommer delta ersätts av spelare rankad 65 etc...
Ange också din T-shirt-storlek vid anmälan då det ingår en T-shirt som minne.

The third play-off in the Swedish Championship Series (SweCS 2024) will be held at Pinballseye in Borås on the weekend 17-19/1, 2025. The 64 highest placed players, i.e. those who (regardless of nationality) have collected the most ranking points at the Swedish competitions in 2024 are qualified . In the event of any cancellations, we fill up from place 65 and below. The final standings in the qualifiers will be when IFPA "locks" the competition year 2024 at the beginning of January 2025. This competition will give 300% TGP!
The qualifier is a seven rounds of Group Match Play with three games (old-mid-new) per round. The playoffs are 32-person head-to-head, single-elimination, best-of-five machines (best-of-seven in the finals) with two byes for qualifiers 1-8 and one bye for 9-16.

The highest placed player in the playoffs who does not already have a place qualifies for both the 2025 IFPA WC in Austria and the ECS playoffs in Belgium in March 2025. If someone declines, the place(s) goes further down the list until someone takes it.
ATTENTION: The WC spot goes to a Swedish player. The ECS place goes to any nationality.
In the ECS playoffs, in addition to a NiB Stern Pro, there is also a WC place in the pot.

It is important that you register or cancel in case you can’t come, so we can give interested reserves from position 65+ a reasonable chance to be able to plan their participation and guarantee that we get a full competition with 64 participants.

For the SweCS finalists - IFPA covers the costs incl. the Friday and Sunday competitions. Registration is, however, required in the usual way for these competitions. For Sunday's competition, late registration (drop-in) is ok for those who did not qualify for the finals in the SweCS final.

The 64 highest ranked in the SweCS 2024 qualifier are qualified for the SweCS final. Exactly who they are will be published here when the IFPA has "locked" the rankings for the year 2024 at the beginning of January 2025.
You must, however, register as for any competition in order for us to know that you intend to participate. It is done in the comments section of this thread during the period up to and including January 4. Those interested outside the top 64 can also register during this time. For the Friday competition and the Sunday competition, you register in separate threads or on site. Registration fee in side competitions is included for the competitors in the SweCS final, however.
Those from the top 64 who inform me that they will not participate are replaced by players ranked 65 etc...
Also state your T-shirt size when registering as a T-shirt is included as a souvenir.
